For me, food is a love language. It was how my gramma showed care for every person at the table at every family event. The reward for showing up strong in school, and also for behaving out shopping with mom.
Dad is a dessert driven person. So any time out was a good enough reason for a cookie or a milkshake., any visit is a good reason to make ice cream. Baking is my love language and playtime.
Ellipsis was born really because of one snickerdoodle given to a friend and coworker who said "Bri. I would give you money for these", undying support from community, and the pride on my favorite human's face when they announce "She's a baker".
Everything on the menu comes from a memory or a feeling. Little moments baked into something handheld and shareable.
Because why the heck not? If it doesn't work, you bet we learned something. And that's how every win is really born anyhow
